What is FHOS?
FHOS is a pioneering aesthetic platform that uses athermic light (i.e. without heat generation) in combination with bioluminescent Cosmeceuticals (specially developed skin products) to rejuvenate and improve the skin from the inside. Unlike traditional laser or LED treatments, which act solely on the skin's surface, FHOS creates a synergistic effect where light activates particular nanoparticles in the skin. The process is completely painless and without needles or surgery. A single 15-minute FHOS treatment can produce results that were previously only possible with more invasive aesthetic procedures, making FHOS one of the most effective devices in its class.
Three steps in a treatment
FHOS integrates three crucial steps into one and the same treatment:
- Bioluminescent spheres: Nano-sized capsules filled with active ingredients are applied to the skin. Thanks to their low molecular weight, these bioluminescent spheres effectively penetrate the top layers of the skin.
- Light Activation: The special light (athermic photoluminescence) of the FHOS unit activates the spheres and drives them deeper into the skin. The light acts as a catalyst that “awakens” the active substances and increase their volume and energy.
- Internal release: When the spheres reach the proper depth, they implode and release the active ingredients directly inside the tissue. This controlled release stimulates cell renewal, collagen production and the skin's own repair processes in depth.

By using athermic (non-heating) light and avoiding needles, FHOS virtually eliminates all discomfort during treatment. The customer can lie comfortably and relax while the light is working — the experience is gentle and pleasant, often described as a slight warmth or tingling sensation that does not hurt. Because no heat energy is created, there is no risk of burns or pigment changes, and no anesthetics are needed. The treatment is so gentle that no special recovery is required; the client can immediately return to their normal activities without any problems.
Efficient and hands-free
The FHOS device is designed to be as user-friendly as possible and requires minimal hand application from the therapist. Thanks to its self-guided programs and automatic processing sequences, FHOS can work handsfree — you just need to apply the special products, place the light applicator and start the program. After that, the machine will handle the processing independently. This allows your staff to focus on other tasks or clients in the meantime, increasing clinic efficiency and reducing staff workload. Being able to complete a complete treatment in just 15 minutes, without constant monitoring, means that more clients can be received per day.

With a library of preset treatment programs — developed by dermatologists and aesthetic experts — FHOS helps you easily select the right settings for each client's needs. The system offers fully adjustable parameters, including light intensity, pulse rate and treatment time, to be able to tailor treatment as needed. Traditional Treatments vs. FHOS
Traditional LED light therapy often works with very low pulsation (around 1 Hz) and limited energy, producing gradual results. FHOS takes the concept several steps further through technological innovations:
- Ultra-fast pulse technology: FHOS is the first light platform capable of pulsing above 10 Hz (with burst frequencies >50 Hz), compared to ~1 Hz in common systems. This means significantly more powerful and faster treatments.
- Year-round, all skin types: FHOS can be safely used on all skin tones, even darker complexions, and in all seasons. Unlike laser/IPL which are often limited by skin type or require sun avoidance, FHOS has no such restrictions — a major benefit for both clinic and client.

Antalet behandlingar varierar från kund till kund. Vi rekommenderar en kur på cirka 4–6 behandlingar (ofta en per vecka) för optimalt och långvarigt resultat. Eftersom FHOS ger effekt direkt kan man dock se märkbar förbättring redan efter första sessionen, vilket är unikt för en icke-invasiv behandling.
Efter en första kur av FHOS (t.ex. 4–6 sessioner) kan resultaten – såsom förbättrad hudton, lyster och spänst – vara i många månader. Tack vare att FHOS stimulerar hudens egna regenerationsprocesser upplever många att hudkvalitén fortsätter vara förbättrad länge. För att upprätthålla maximal effekt över tid kan underhållsbehandlingar rekommenderas, t.ex. en uppföljande FHOS-session var tredje till sjätte månad.

De flesta kunder känner endast en mild värme eller pirrande känsla. Inga betydande biverkningar har observerats – vissa kan få en lätt rodnad som försvinner inom någon timme. Ingen speciell eftervård behövs.
Ja. FHOS-teknologin är icke-termisk och skadar inte huden, så den kan användas på i stort sett alla hudtyper (Fitzpatrick I–VI) året om. Även mörkare hud som traditionellt kan vara svår att behandla med laser eller IPL går utmärkt med FHOS. Behandlingarna kan utföras även under sommarmånaderna – vi rekommenderar dock alltid att använda solskydd efter estetiska behandlingar.
